The European Life Settlement Association has elected a new Executive board at their 2019 annual general meeting. Scott Willkomm of Life Equity has been reelected as Chair and Bill Corry of Corry Capital Advisors has been elected as Deputy Chair.

“Thank you to all of the members for putting your confidence in me to Chair the association for another year” said Scott Willkomm, Chief Executive of Life Equity, who was elected to his second term of Chair of ELSA. “I’m thrilled with all of the progress ELSA’s made this past year, including hiring Chris Wells, our extremely capable and energetic Executive Director, welcoming a host of new members, and engaging with our members and allies in new and interesting ways. Going forward, we expect to continue the momentum of last year and deliver significant value to all of our members.

Jule Rousseau, ELSA’s newly elected Secretary and Partner of Arent Fox said “I am excited to continue in my role as a board member, and now assuming the title secretary, for ELSA which I have found to be an exciting collection of investors and others interested in the secondary market for life insurance investments. The programs produced by ELSA over the years, and the work of its members, have been useful to interested parties in understanding the market, sharing best practices, and developing relationships with market participants, all of which helps maintain not only a vigorous and competitive market but one that has common goals of due diligence and fair conduct”
