Anna Bailey

"Anna joined MLF LexServ in July of 2009 as Director of Business Development. Anna is responsible for identifying and attracting clients that are in need of life settlement portfolio servicing, while cultivating already existing relationships. MLF LexServ is an industry leader and innovator in portfolio servicing and is a joint venture between Maple Life Financial and Cantor Fitzgerald.
After completing her undergraduate degree at the University at Buffalo where she received a BA in German with a double major in International Relations, she studied at the University of Maryland College Park. She holds her Master’s Degree in Germanic Studies with a concentration in language, literature and culture. Anna began her career in Life Settlements in 2007 working for a licensed provider as Director of Operations. Anna began work on the Steering Group Committee for ELSA (European Life Settlement Association) in early 2009."
Michael Fugler

"Michael Fugler currently serves as Head of Global Capital Markets for Welcome Life Financial Group. His responsibilities include managing the strategic vision and direction for building Welcome Life Financial Group as a global expert in longevity markets, offering institutional clients trading, product development, capital raising and independent objective advice.
Michael was a key member of the team that led its subsidiary, Welcome Life Securities to become the first broker dealer in the US to operate exclusively in life settlements.
Michael has been a licensed Attorney for 38 years developing an expertise in international law and finance, international investment and merchant banking. He has also been an investment banker for the past 16 of those years being FINRA registered with Series 7, 24 and 79 licenses and establishing offices and providing extensive consulting and guidance to institutional investors throughout Europe and the USA.
Michael is a frequent invited speaker globally at professional conferences having been a featured speaker recently in London, Luxembourg, Zurich, Dubai, Sao Palo, Beijing, New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Miami and other forums.
Michael’s investment banking experience has been as a principle, partner and CEO, leading every aspect of company consulting and financing from start-up to securing growth capital through private placements, PIPEs, bridges, M&A, public offerings, IPOs, APOs and follow-on offerings."
Patrick McAdams

"Patrick focuses on the management and analysis of existing Life Settlement funds along with researching and developing new fund opportunities. Patrick played an important role in the launch of the first London-listed vehicle to invest solely in US life settlements and has overseen the substantial growth in SL Investment Management’s US activities. His background includes a post as Research Associate within Bank of America’s global corporate & investment banking unit, working with senior analysts on M&A and industry research, and working for an internet start-up focusing on derivatives investment advice for high-net-worth individuals and their advisers. He joined SL Investment Management in 2002. Patrick obtained an honours degree in Finance and a minor in Computer Science from a US university in 1998. In 2001, he was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, the premier international qualification for investment management and analysis."
Simon Erritt

"Simon Erritt is Managing Director for Coventry Capital. Simon plays a senior role in the development of the firm’s longevity-linked products for counterparties throughout Europe. Prior to joining Coventry, Simon was a Director in Citigroup’s Asset Finance Group where he led the development of Citigroup’s investment activity in the US secondary market for life insurance. Simon is a graduate of the University of Bristol and Haywards Heath College in West Sussex, England."
Tim Roberts

"Tim Roberts became Chief Executive of Catalyst in 2006. He has been an integral force in the international expansion of the company and in carving out its leading position within life settlement backed products, acting as a principal architect of ARM investments. Tim brings over 30 years commercial experience to the role, ranging across all areas of corporate finance - including mergers and acquisitions, flotations, and fund raisings - as well as wider industry. He has staged a number of company restructures for small and medium sized business having acted as CEO for businesses across the engineering, shipping, internet and telecoms sectors. Tim was educated in Management and Finance at Oriel College, Oxford, and Queens’ College, Cambridge."
Daniel Beckmann

"Daniel has an extensive background in the capital markets and life settlement industry. His broad knowledge of the life settlement asset class, analytical skills, and experience in building, analyzing and managing financial products, are well-documented throughout his career.
Before joining Maple Life Financial, Daniel was the owner, President and CEO of Life Analytics, an independent life settlement consulting firm, with clients all over the world. Prior to that, Daniel was the Director of Finance, for three years, at Legacy Benefits, in charge of investor relations, portfolio management, pricing and closing. Before entering the Life Settlement space, Daniel worked seven years with Prudential Financial in the areas of corporate workouts, international corporate M&A and securities lending.
Mr. Beckmann was born and raised in Germany, studied business at the Universität Köln, has lived in the US since 1995 and graduated from the University of South Carolina summa cum laude with a B.S. in Finance."
Michael V. Fasano, FLMI
President and CEO of Fasano Associates:
"Michael is President and CEO of Fasano Associates, a leading underwriting consulting firm providing life expectancy estimates to the life, annuity and life settlement industries. Fasano’s life expectancies are the most accurate in the business, with an actual to expected ratio of 96%, based on actual – not adjusted - estimates. His physician staff includes former chief and senior medical directors of New York Life, First Colony Life (Genworth), John Hancock Life and Munich Re.
Before starting Fasano Associates, Michael served as President of Trans-General Life Insurance Company; and before that, he worked at the White House Office of Management and Budget.
Michael received his B.A. from Northwestern University and his M.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He currently serves on the Board of Visitors for Northwestern University’s College of Arts & Sciences and as Co-Chair of Northwestern’s Washington, DC Regional Council. He also serves as an officer of the Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA) and is a member of the Institutional Life Markets Association (ILMA), BVZL and the Life Settlement Institute, as well as ELSA. He is a frequent industry speaker and has published articles in Best’s Review, Pensions and Investments, and the National Underwriter."
Craig Seitel

"Prior to joining Abacus Settlements, LLC, Craig served as the Managing Director for the New York office of Allison-Williams Company, an Investment Banking Firm.
Before that Craig worked for Oppenheimer Corp. as a Senior Vice President and as a specialty finance banker for new emerging asset types. His primary responsibility was to help finance companies capitalize themselves and design related securitization programs.
Craig has also represented the Securities and Exchange Commission as an expert witness for various private placement related disputes and inquiries.
Craig graduated with a B.A. in Economics (cum laude) and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota. He is currently serves as an Alumni Advisory Board Member for the Carlson School of Management. Craig currently holds series 7, 24, 63 and Life and Health Insurance Licenses. Craig is an avid outdoorsman and triathlete. He has completed three Ironman competitions, as well as numerous marathons and other triathlon competitions.
